How I can support you
How to organise the child’s space
I can help you create a calm, functional, and child-friendly environment that supports independence, order, and everyday participation for children aged 3–6.
Choosing the right toys and materials
We can explore which materials suit your child’s current stage, what to rotate in and out of their space, and how to simplify their environment so that what is available is genuinely interesting and used.
Creating a Montessori-inspired home environment
We can look at how small changes – a low shelf, a tray for morning routines, a reading corner within reach – can make a real difference to how your child moves, chooses and feels at home.
Supporting independence in daily routines
We can talk through dressing, meals, tidying and other everyday moments, and find simple ways to step back so your child can do more on their own, at their own pace.
Understanding your child’s developmental needs (ages 3–6)
Between 3 and 6, children are in sensitive periods for order, movement, language and sensory refinement. We can look at what your child is drawn to right now and how to support that natural drive.
The role of the adult in the child’s development
The Montessori adult observes before acting, and knows when to step in and when to wait. We can explore what that looks like in practice – in your specific situation, with your specific child.
Communication with the child
We can look at how the way we speak and listen shapes a child’s confidence, cooperation and sense of self, and find language that feels natural and consistent for you.
Setting boundaries with clarity and consistency
We can explore how to hold calm, firm limits in a way that respects the child’s perspective and avoids power struggles – with practical strategies for the situations that come up most often.
Personalised guidance for parents and educators
Every child and every environment is different. Whether you are a parent at home or an educator in a setting, the session is shaped entirely around your questions, your context and the child in front of you.
Ideas for the classroom (ages 3–6)
We can look at how to set up shelves and work areas, introduce and rotate materials, structure calm and focused work time, and support the individual rhythm of each child.
